Welcome to Gingerbread Bostons

If you are viewing our website, you must be contemplating making a Boston part of your family.  There are few
decisions you can make that have the potential to
bring so much joy to you and your loved ones.

As you can tell, we are "tried and true" Boston Terrier lovers.  A long time ago, we tried other breeds looking for the right combination of size, characteristics and temperament that would benefit and enhance our home life.  Quite by accident, we were shown the right choice.  A playful Boston Terrier appeared on my mother's doorstep and immediately bonded with the grandkids and made herself at home.  Even after we discovered where she lived and returned her, she kept coming back to play with the kids.  Finally, her wise owner said "Keep her.  That's where she wants to be."
And so it was that "Trouble" brought it all to the table.

Bostons are loyal, lovable, playful, intelligent - I could
go on and on.  To me, they are the perfect size - not too
little & not too big.  They have just the right amount
of energy - not too lazy & not too hyper.  They require
very little grooming and are very eager to please.

We have remained true to our choice for more than 25
years and never regretted it.  In the last few years,
we have embarked upon the adventure of raising
Boston Terriers and it has been a real blessing.
Our dogs are our "children" now that we have
an empty nest.  Our puppies are born and raised
in our home.  We only have one litter a year.
Puppies are bred for optimum beauty,
personality and confirmation.  We want your
owner experience to be as great as ours'
has always been.

In case your curious, the name "Gingerbread Bostons" was selected to represent both the warm, rich colors of red and chocolate Bostons we strive to produce and to pay tribute to our home and city - Waxahachie, Texas.  Some of you may know that W
axahachie is often referred to as the Gingerbread City because of the gingerbread carpentry visible on many of the beautiful Victorian-style homes and buildings that remain from before 1900.  We actually live in one such home.  It is over one hundred years old and has been in our family for fifty years.
